  • During June's National Safety Month, we prioritized bringing safety awareness to the T4 community by emphasizing the most common safety concerns, answering questions, and enforcing best practices.    We met with our business partners & tenants to discuss important safety topics and remind employees of safe terminal operation, ensuring T4 continues providing excellent safety measures.   With the ongoing expansion and transformation of T4, combined with the growth of the number of passengers traveling through, JFKIAT remains committed to providing top safety measures for our passengers and employees alike.    Thank you to our partners, DFS Group, SSP Group plc, Hudson, our Airlines, and Lounges.

  • This week, JFKIAT proudly celebrated 20 years of partnership with Copa Airlines. In June of 2004, Copa Airlines launched its first flights to connect New York City to Panama. Today it operates flights to more than 85 destinations, including three daily flights from T4 to an extensive network of routes in Latin America and the Caribbean, facilitating seamless travel from the U.S. to Latin America that bridges cultures and creates connections. Copa Airlines shares JFKIAT's commitment to operational excellence, and we have been grateful for their collaboration with us to deliver incredible journeys for our passengers. We extend our thanks to Copa Airlines for their highly valued partnership for the past two decades - we look forward to working together for the next 20 years and beyond!

  • We are very pleased to congratulate our valued partners at Delta Air Lines on the opening of Terminal 4's newest premium lounge offering: the Delta One Lounge, a first-of-its-kind experience for T4 travelers. Located between Concourses A and B, the 39,000-square-foot concept features a curated design with nods to iconic New York City landmarks, a 140-seat brasserie restaurant, a designated wellness area and a Serenity Lounge, shower suites, a terrace with airfield views and a retractable roof, and much more. Travelers have access to a range of experiences and amenities, including fine dining, wellness treatments, and valet services. The opening of the lounge comes as Delta Air Lines undertakes its largest trans-Atlantic schedule ever from JFK Airport, with more than 240 weekly departures to 26 destinations, and as T4 continues to see record-breaking passenger traffic during the busy summer season. Throughout our longtime partnership with Delta, we have worked closely to deliver incredible journeys - and with the opening of the Delta One Lounge, we look forward to continuing our work together to give our customers a truly unparalleled travel experience. Congratulations to Delta’s New York-based Construction Management Team, and to our team at JFKIAT, who worked hard to make this achievement possible.

  • Our partners at Virgin Atlantic celebrated a significant milestone of 40 years in business. Their service and curated in-flight experiences have allowed the airline to expand to serve more than 340 destinations all over the globe, including JFK T4. For many years, we have worked together to deliver a best-in-class customer experience for our passengers and share a mutual commitment to a sustainable future. Last year, we were proud to host Virgin Atlantic for the first trans-Atlantic flight on 100% Sustainable Aviation Fuels. To mark the 40th anniversary, we celebrated with special mementos for all passengers boarding Virgin Atlantic flights this past weekend. Congratulations to Virgin Atlantic on this tremendous milestone, and we look forward to continuing our partnership in the future.

  • JFKIAT, together with our partners at the Port Authority, proudly hosted our second annual Juneteenth celebration at T4. It was a powerful event filled with insightful panel discussions led by leaders in aviation, and local politicians, shedding light on its history and its enduring impact on our society and for our community. We will continue to foster strong relationships and support the institutions of New York's most diverse borough along with our T4 partners.    It was an honor to have Reverend Mynesha J. Rogers deliver the opening prayer and Dr. Stacie NC Grant for setting a poignant tone for the celebration and its importance. Thank you to our moderator, Rachelle Antoine, MSW of The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, and our panelists, City Council Member Nantasha Williams, Assemblyman Clyde Vanel, Eboni Wimbush of the Airport Minority Advisory Council, Vernon M. Taylor of JFKIAT, and guest speaker Assemblywoman Alicia Hyndman.   After the celebration, we organized a job fair attended by 800 job seekers from the community and are grateful to all our valued business partners and community partners for working with us.
