Our team from The New Terminal One at JFK was delighted to celebrate the second cohort of graduates of The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey JFK Redevelopment Institute of Concessions, at a reception last week at Queens Borough Hall. The Institute offers extensive training and mentoring to help increase the number of local and diverse airport concessionaires participating in the $19 billion transformation of JFK Airport. Alongside members of the JFK Redevelopment Community Advisory Council; Director of Economic Development in the Queens Borough President's Office Shurn Anderson; PANYNJ Deputy Chief of Intergovernmental Affairs Hersh K. Parekh, Esq. and the JFK Redevelopment team; our partner Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield Airports and other terminal developers, we cheered on members of the cohort as they accepted their certificates among family and friends. Special thanks to the IOC's program coordination team at DIANNA ROSE and Associates for planning such a special evening. Our heartfelt congratulations to all graduates once again!
