Exactly a week ago, in #Nairobi🇰🇪, we hosted our 2nd #SubSaharanAfrica breakfast session, this time focused on the East Africa Region (following our successful engagement for West Africa in Lagos 3 days earlier), heralding the consolidation of Interswitch Group's pan-African partnership with ACI Worldwide, the global leader in real-time payments🤝🏽 Whilst Mobile Money & Banking in East Africa have achieved considerable interoperability within their respective sectors, there is still limited interoperability between the services of the two sectors, as well as from the cross-border transactions perspective, with implications for the growth of #FinancialInclusion, #ECommerce and #CrossBorderTrade in the region and across the continent📈 Leveraging our new and revolutionary #EnterprisePaymentsPlatform which ACI Worldwide and Interswitch Group are collaborating to introduce to the market, we're poised to support the modernization of payment infrastructure in key markets in the region, providing the required enablement for players across sectors of the payments #ecosystem to strengthen cross-platform and cross-border #interoperability of real-time digital payments...
