🌟 Research Associate Spotlight 🌟 Meet Riana George, Colorado State University student and one of our talented team members at Innosphere Ventures. She’s been with us for just a few months, but her journey has already been incredibly impactful. Here’s what she has to say about her experience: “In a few months at Innosphere, I’ve seen more applications of data science than in two years of running a data science club for my university. Not only do I get exposure to the world of startups, finance, and higher-level business, but the experience of working directly with such a broad range of innovation-driven, data-minded companies has been invaluable.” We're proud to have such passionate individuals driving innovation and making a difference. If you're curious about what we do and how we support the next generation of tech leaders, contact us or visit our website ( https://lnkd.in/gMUEjF5) to learn more.

"At Innosphere Ventures we preach the importance of customer discovery to shape your product into one with the highest value. That’s why we collect 34 measures of investor readiness at multiple points in our program. This delivers lots of data on outcomes and pairs it with qualitative feedback because if we know what’s working and what’s not, we can make adjustments to our own program accordingly." Life Sciences Incubator Director @ Innosphere Ventures | Championing Innovation and Growth in the Startup Ecosystems.

To build an offering that delivers impact, you need to iterate based on your target audience’s needs - which means you need an effective way to measure what those needs are. Innosphere Ventures we preach the importance of customer discovery to shape your product into one with the highest value. That’s why we collect 34 measures of investor readiness at multiple points in our program. This delivers lots of data on outcomes and pairs it with qualitative feedback because if we know what’s working and what’s not, we can make adjustments to our own program accordingly. For example, we initially thought that all the curriculum content we offer to the founders in our Incubator should have roughly equal weight in our curriculum. But when we looked at the data and feedback around knowledge gaps, we found that life science founders consistently needed help bolstering their go-to-market strategies - often in the specific areas of business model, financial, regulatory, and reimbursement strategies. So we responded with our partners Colorado BioScience Association and Colorado BioScience Institute by devoting more time in our curriculum to these areas and presenting them earlier. Adding in more life sciences-specific GTM-oriented workshops to expose founders to these important parts of the company-building process. Our metrics mechanism at Innosphere has been key to increasing our founders’ success rate, as well as differentiating our program from others. With a clear understanding of the quality of our outcomes, we can iterate quickly and create more impact, sooner.
