It’s raining dogs inside and outside, literally! Senior Office Manager, Mary Petropoulos, hosted Dog Day at our St. Louis office today. Our team enjoyed Steve's Hot Dogs for lunch and several team members brought their dogs in for the event. Don’t worry, the pups got treats too! It might be a rainy, stormy day in STL, but fun office get-togethers like this make us all smile.

That’s a wrap! Thad graduated from ADVISA's Emerging Leaders program yesterday, and GadellNet Consulting Services is so grateful for the opportunities our partner provides. We could not be prouder of Thad's accomplishments! Thad is ecstatic, to say the least, and says he loved every minute of it. Thad had a great list of key takeaways from the program: 1. To be an effective leader, we need to start with self-awareness and self-management. Learning my own strengths and weaknesses in relation to the Predictive Index Behavioral Assessment helps me understand my drives and needs better. 2. People need to TRUST you to achieve the best results. The right blend of competence and connection. 3. Manage your energy, not your time. Energy is a renewable resource, time is not. 4. If you're facing challenges at work, focus on the issues that you have complete control over. Do not waste your energy focusing on challenges you have no control over. 5. How to effectively communicate with and influence people. Your message needs to be received and understood with a shared clarity and purpose Team members like Thad, who are committed to growth and development, truly make our organization a great place to work. Once again, Thad Hundertmark, congratulations on all of your success!
Congratulations to Thad Hundertmark for being a recipient of ADVISA's Leadership Diversity Scholarship! This scholarship will cover participation costs for ADVISA's Emerging Leaders Series. "I just want to say how appreciative I am of GadellNet Consulting Services' efforts to invest in their employees' growth. I have worked for many companies in my IT journey and I can say with confidence that this company stands atop the rest. Once again, thanks, and I hope to make an impact with this opportunity!" Thad said when the announcement was made to our entire company, "Thank you to Jonathan James and Kerri Novak for encouraging me to apply." The 5-month Emerging Leaders program, which kicks off in June, provides students with independent, self-directed pre-work before engaging in group sessions focused on various important leadership topics. As they apply what they have learned in their current role, they will also use this time to report on their progress. Since 2016, ADVISA's programs have had over 5,000 graduates. Ninety-eight percent of them report being better leaders due to their participation. Congratulations again to Thad! We can't wait for you to share your learnings with us!
