This article explains how to set up a Gosund Smart Plug in your home. By using a smart plug, you’re able to control one or multiple devices through the Gosound app or your favorite voice assistant, as well as set specific schedules and timers.

How Do I Connect My Gosund to a New Wi-Fi?

Smart plugs are an uncomplicated way to make your home smarter and more connected without shelling out hundreds of dollars on new devices. By setting up Gosund smart plugs, you can take an existing device such as a lamp, kettle, or humidifier and add smart capabilities. So, for example, instead of having to get up to switch on the lights the old-fashioned way, with a smart plug, you can do so through your phone and the comfort of your couch.

Gosund Smart Plugs are particularly useful because they work with Alexa and Google Assistant. Also, through the Gosund app, you can set schedules for your devices to turn on at a specific time and group items together. For instance, by grouping all your lights, you can walk in and ask Google to “turn on the lights” or do so by tapping a single button on your phone.

Here’s how to set it up and get it connected to your home Wi-Fi network.

  1. Insert the Gosund smart plug into the socket you want to use.

  2. Scan the QR code on the Gosund box.

  3. Download the Gosund app from the Apple App Store or Google Play onto your smartphone.

  • If EZ pairing mode isn’t working, switch to AP pairing mode, which can be found at the top right of the screen, and follow the app’s instructions.
  • Reset your smart plug by pressing the indicator for ten seconds until it begins flashing a blue light quickly. Repeat installation process.
  • Unplug the smart plug and restart your internet.
  • Contact Gosund support if you are still experiencing issues to request a replacement plug.

How Do I Put My Smart Plug in Pairing Mode?
