Nothing’s Budget CMF Brand Drops a New Lineup of Devices

Customization features seem to be the order of business for these gadgets

Now there's another option for a budget-friendly phone, watch, and earbuds.

In October 2023, CMF, a budget-friendly brand by Nothing, debuted it's first products, and now, it's adding three new, updated products.

In a press release sent to Lifewire, Nothing's CMF announced the new CMF Phone 1, CMF Watch Pro 2, and CMF Buds Pro 2. The CMF Phone 1—the first in this line—has a "powerful camera system" and customizable design, while the CMF Watch Pro 2 offers a customizable bezel and band, and the CMF Buds Pro 2 has a new customizable dial on the front of the case.

CMF by Nothing

The CMF Phone 1 starts at $199 and has a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G processor with a 5000 mAh battery that CMF says "allows users to keep going for up to two days on a single charge." The camera system includes a 50 MP rear camera and a 16MP front camera. But the most interesting part might be the swappable backplate that lets you quickly change the colors of your phone whenever the urge strikes.

The Watch Pro 2 takes customization a step further with an easily changed bezel and band system, but it also has an AMOLED always-on display and is IP68 water and dust-resistant. CMF also says the Watch Pro 2 "boasts a battery life of up to 11 days," even with dozens of sport modes, heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring, and more. Watch Pro 2 is $69, and the extra bezel and strap set is $19.

CMF by Nothing

The CMF Buds Pro 2, which will cost you $59, aren't as customizable in the looks department, however, the earbuds do have a charging case that features a Smart Dial that's fully customizable to "control every aspect of sound" from the earbuds.

CMF by Nothing

The Buds Pro 2 have 11 mm bass drivers and 6 mm tweeters as well as Active Noise Canceling up to 50 dB and 6 HD mics leveraging Clear Voice Technology 2.0 and Wind-Noise Reduction 2.0. They also offer 43 hours of battery life with a fully-charged case that can charge the buds for 7 hours of use with a 10-minute charge.

Unfortunately, the CMF Phone 1 is only available in North America through the company's US Beta Program. The CMF Watch Pro 2 and Buds Pro 2 will be available "later in July."
