Refrigeration Engineer


Location: Mobile (predominantly Central Belt, Tayside & Fife)

40-hr week


Conduct reactive service & planned maintenance of heavy commercial refrigeration systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.

Perform routine planned inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential problems and prevent costly breakdowns.


Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to explain plant issues, proposed solutions, and offer expert advice on equipment maintenance and system efficiency.

Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations during all tasks and operations.

Keep up-to-date records of work performed, including service reports, maintenance logs.

Requirements


Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

Hold a Full UK driving licence.


Proficient knowledge of various refrigeration systems and their components.


Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles in relation to refrigeration equipment.


Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.


A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different locations through out Scotland as required.


Relevant certifications such as City & Guilds 2079 (F-Gas) or equivalent.
