The World Biogas Association is the global trade association for the biogas, landfill gas and anaerobic digestion (AD) sectors, dedicated to facilitating the adoption of biogas globally. We believe that the global adoption of biogas technologies is a multi-faceted opportunity to produce clean, renewable energy while resolving global issues related to development, public health and economic growth. We seek to represent all organisations working in the biogas industry at the international level across the world, including; national associations, biogas operators and developers, equipment providers, water companies, the agricultural sector, waste companies, and academic & research institutions.

Day 1 was a great success here at the World Biogas Expo, Summit and Awards! #MakingBiogasHappen Prior to the show opening, colleagues joined a site visit yesterday at a local anaerobic digestion plant and then gathered in industry meetings and networking receptions. Then, today's biogas trade show opened with the theatres filling up with audiences fascinated by the guest talks and with the exhibition area buzzing with business. For some, it's been a chance to catch-up on longstanding relationships in the AD and biogas industry community. For others, it's been the perfect platform to make new connections. Yet there's more to come! Tonight the industry will gather at the annual AD and Biogas Industry Awards Ceremony — look out for the 'big reveal' of the winners! The World Biogas Expo is in full swing with more events planned over the next two days. The site visit to Springhill Nurseries #AnaerobicDigestion Plant on Tuesday started a series of side events, including the ADBA Advisory Board meeting. Both were great opportunities for attendees to network and learn about the latest in #biogas developments.
