This week we attended the 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 organized by the World Biogas Association! During the two-day event top-notch speakers, political and business leaders took turns on stage. We had the chance to speak with some professionals and we also learned that biogas can meet 6-9% of global energy needs and reduce GHG emissions by 11%.

With the European biogas market alone anticipated to exceed USD 6 Billion by 2025, the future for smart, innovative, and sustainable #biogas production looks extremely promising. 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒛𝒛𝒊 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒎𝒊 𝒈𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒊 𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒊 𝒃𝒊𝒐𝒈𝒂𝒔 Come ci ricorda Christian Curlisi, il CIB - Consorzio Italiano Biogas sta lavorando per migliorare le modalità di definizione dei prezzi minimi garantiti (PMG). Gli interventi richiesti sono soprattutto sulla 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐬, sui 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢 e sul possibile 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐳𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐞. Il GSE (Gestore Servizi Energetici) dovrebbe a breve pubblicare le procedure per permettere agli impianti già aventi diritto di accedere ai PMG.
