A new era dawns!

ROG were called out at short notice over the weekend to recover two units that were unable to move under their own power from Birmingham New Street to maintenance locations. Our stand-by locos and crews responded brilliantly. Our flexibility and equipment, designed to support such scenarios, ensured that the units were moved off the network as fully braked services with minimum fuss. Thanks to our industry partners Network Rail and West Midlands Trains whose collaboration made this happen seamlessly and safely. Special thanks also goes to the dedicated 24/7 team at ROG.

Last week we were pleased to attend the unveiling of 37608 which has been stunningly outshopped in our green ROAL livery by our industry partners at LORAM - another Derby based business. This locomotive will be intrinsically linked to the ongoing Class 93 fleet introduction during the course of the second half of this year. Watch this space..... #loco #class37
