Our Healthy Peer Relationship Practitioners have been spending the last few weeks with students at Astrea Academy Dearne - and what a lovely few weeks it has been! 😄 Last week we looked at online apps, the risks of connecting with people online, blocking and reporting content/people, postive online wellbeing and things we can do offline when our life online gets a little overwhelming! Student's were also given the amazing online resource booklet created by Barnsley Safeguarding Children’s Partnership to take away. We also made friendships bracelets while having conversations and indulged in a sweet treat or two because..why not! #RelationshipBuilding #healthyPeerRelationships #wellbeing #onlinesafety

What a lovely day with our fantastic Specialist Team! 🌟 Today, practitioners that are part of our specialist services had a development day where they looked at different roles within our specialist service, discussed what works well within their role and what we can do to improve our support offer for children, young people, schools and families in Barnsley. We had lots of positive things to add to our "what we are pleased about" task and celebrated some of the amazing work the practioners do within our service each and every day! We are extremely lucky to have such knowledgeable, dedicated and truly exceptional professionals working within the Compass Be Team! 💙 #TeamDay #peersupport #development #mentalhealth

It was fantastic to see so many parents/carers attend the Parent/Carer coffee morning this week at Lacewood Primary delivered by Practitioners Shaun and Kirsty. Lots of service information and advice provided to support their child's mental health and wellbeing and discussions around online harms and how to support their child's positive online wellbeing and safe, healthy online peer relationships! #coffeemorning #parentsupport #community
