KALYAN: A 30-year-old man was beaten up after he raised objection to a pet dog urinating on his car in Kalyan on Friday evening.
Khadakpada police have booked the pet owner, Monty Karbhari, and his friend Umesh Karbhari on a complaint filed by Sainath Gaikane. No arrests have been made yet.
Police said that the incident took place when Gaikane parked his car and was chatting with his friend Yash Pawar near Vedant Hospital on Friday evening.
He noticed Monty's pet dog urinating in front of his car. As Gaikane confronted Monty, the two got into an argument. Monty made a phone call and four of his friends, including Umesh, reached the spot and started beating up Gaikane, said the first information report registered at Khadakpada police station.
