A shoutout to the creative team from Spark Agency by Singapore Polytechnic. We hope you’ve had as much fun making this video and picking up healthy living hacks and tips as we did 😊 And thank you Desmond Lee for championing this worthy cause. 🎉 mindline.sg turns 4 today! 🎉 Today marks a special milestone for our mindline.sg team as we celebrate four incredible years of supporting digital mental health in Singapore! 🚀 And what better way to commemorate this milestone than a visioning workshop to identify opportunities for mindline to make further contributions in this very important space. Innovative solutions such as hyper-personalising content, enhancing online-offline integration, and fostering a robust and supportive online community were canvassed and discussed, as we remain optimistic about bringing these ideas to fruition and establish impactful goals for the future of mindline.sg. A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated team, partners, and users who have been with us on this remarkable journey. Borne out of a need to help Singaporeans manage stress and navigate help during the Covid-19 pandemic, mindline.sg has since supported the mental health journey of over 1.5 million individuals who engaged with the self-help platform and sought help from professionals and peer supporters on our anonymous mental health forum. Here’s to many more years of growth and dedication to supporting the mental wellbeing of Singapore’s community! 🌟 Robert JT Morris Wai Chiong Loke Maurice Tan Janice Weng Caleb Tan Samantha Yan Hazirah Hoosainsah Xinyi Hong Mary Grace Yeo, CAPM Creighton Heaukulani Julian Kuiyu CHANG Onno Kampman Phang Y. Today, MOHT visited the newsroom of The Straits Times (ST) and gained a deeper understanding of what makes a good news story. We discussed how ST leverages its different capabilities to engage various demographics of the population, and how stories can be more relatable to their target audience. We also explored trends in healthcare, tech and science, and saw firsthand how the newsroom handles breaking news, crafts multimedia stories, and amplifies content reach. It was a riveting session, capped by a thought-provoking Q&A session. Huge thanks to Jaime Ho, Ai-Lien Chang and the ST newsroom team for their warm hospitality and insights. It has been a great learning experience for MOHT colleagues and our industry partners! #journalism #media #newsroom #storytelling Cher Wee Lim, Gerald Koh, Eugene N., Yongqing Lin, Sandra Yeo, Yi Feng LAI, Valerie Ng, Lakshman Murugappan, Weng Mooi Tan, Penny Chua, Onno Kampman, Mary Grace Yeo, CAPM, Marina Tan, Mingshi Koh, Pin Yan L., Elaine Ee, Hwee Ting Liang, Danny Quek, Si Jie Lim, Defi Fertina, Cheryl Lee, Sim En Qi, Kimberly Yap, Sze Min Chan, Diana Leyau, Brian Ng, Gabriel SIM, SPH Media

1 June marks the start of Boon Lay’s Health and Wellness month, with the launch of the Healthy Boon Lay initiative. A partnership of MOH Office for Healthcare Transformation (MOHT), Boon Lay Grassroots Organisations and National University Health System (NUHS), Healthy Boon Lay has the facilities, networks, activities and resources in place to help residents of Boon Lay stay active, eat healthy and live well – by default. A key initiative is the Movements for Health (M4H) programme which leverages existing social networks and interest groups to embed health messaging into their activities. Over time, such campaigns can be sustained and perpetuated by passionate residents and volunteers who act as advocates for healthy behaviours. Boon Lay has also become the first community in Singapore to benefit from a preventive health initiative by Boon Lay Grassroots – supported by SATA COMMHEALTH and MSD – which provides residents from low-income families help in cancer prevention via HPV vaccinations at no cost. Thank you Desmond Lee for joining 500 residents and partners today in a pledge to build a Healthy Boon Lay and spearhead a journey towards healthy living through collective action. We hope the Boon Lay residents had a fun and fulfilling experience exploring the different booths and activities at today’s health carnival, and are inspired to adopt healthier lifestyles to work towards a Healthy Boon Lay together! “What are some innovative, financially sustainable and scalable solutions that can help increase the number of patients with chronic diseases managed by GP clinics by at least 20% in the next three years, with achievement of good chronic disease control?” This was the challenge statement issued to GPs by MOHT in January 2020, under MOHT’s GP Innovation Initiative. One of the winning ideas – Project THRUST (Tackling Hypertension Right, Unifying Strengthening Trust) – received funding to bring the pilot to fruition. Despite numerous disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the THRUST pilot initiative was successfully completed in December 2023, while fulfilling all the desired clinical and operational outcomes. Learnings and challenges have been documented in the Project Closing Report to serve as a reference for future GP initiatives. Click to read the report and uncover how the THRUST programme, driven by Dr Lee Yik Voon (together with partner GP clinics) and supported by MOHT’s Future Primary Care (FPC) team, helps hypertension patients achieve better health and wellbeing. MOHT’s Movements for Health (M4H) initiative identifies activated Community Movement Champions (CMCs) in the neighbourhood to support residents in achieving and sustaining healthy lifestyles. MOHT works closely with healthcare partners to provide these community activators with the capabilities, resources and networks to cultivate and sustain these worthy ground-up initiatives. Last week, we collaborated with National Healthcare Group to organise a Health Literacy Workshop, where coaches equipped CMCs with the knowledge and resources to share health messages with their target audiences. These included interactive sessions, led by field experts, which covered a spectrum of topics including food & nutrition, sleep and physical activity, supplemented with health and behavioural models. Thank you, all attendees, speakers and partners for your insights and contributions towards this meaningful cause. We look forward to harnessing the collective impact of health literacy and resident activation in fostering healthier communities. #MovementsforHealth #HealthLiteracy #Empowerment #Learning The Majurity Trust Saw Swee Hock School Of Public Health Bold At Work Green Nudge 3Pumpkins Beyond Social Services Vintage Radio SG FILOS Community Services Hatch Weng Mooi Tan Priyanka Rajendram Fadli Kamalzaman Penny Chua Chew Hui En Natasha Mohan

MOHT’s Dinner and Dance this past Thursday was a night of many firsts – our first Dinner and Dance, our first Service Recognition Award, the very first time we’ve had all our programme units and partners come together in person for an evening of camaraderie and commemorating MOHT's 6th anniversary. The theme was "Cinematic Futurism", and it was an evening to honour our people, celebrate shared journeys and imagine exciting futures. Participants embraced the theme, and morphed into Harry Potter wizards, Starfleet troopers, Tron warriors, Men in Black agents, Marvel superheroes – all united in a pledge to “change the world”. We also rolled out the carpet for our Service Recognition Award recipients Mingshi Koh Hwee Ting Liang Yongqing Lin Andrew Long Xuancong Wang Lakshman Murugappan Praveen Deorani Angela Yeo Angeline Chan. Shoutout to our Board members, colleagues, friends, partners, and everyone who's been cheering us on. Huge thanks to the D&D Organising Committee for putting together a riveting and memorable event.
