The first keynote speaker of The Drop 2024 is General Richard Nugee CB CVO CBE 📣 Richard's expertise lies in the intersection of climate change, sustainability, and security. As a British Army general, he wrote a Review of Defence's Approach to Climate Change and Sustainability. He was also the Non-Executive Director for Climate Change and Net Zero for the UK Ministry of Defence. These days, he's busy as the Chair, Director, and Advisor for several renewable energy and environmental sustainability startups. Richard’s keynote will explore how climate change affects geopolitics and security. He’ll also discuss opportunities for dual-purpose investments in companies that have climate benefits inside and outside the military space.
