Multi-Cut end mills were developed in particular for high-performance roughing operations. Due to variable spacing of flutes combined with the NR profile vibrations and cutting forces are minimised. The Multi-Cut geometry, which has proven itself for years, has been extended by the high-performance AlCrN coating. This layer is characterised by a high oxidation resistance and an excellent thermal shock stability. These tools achieve a significant increase in tool life particularly in flood machining. But also in dry machining the formation of a built-up cutting edges is reduced and chip removal is improved thanks to a very smooth surface. If you have high demands on surface finish, need a high material removal rate and/or have a machine with high rpm and want to use it to its full potential, then you should use our high precision collet holders FPC and FMC. These tool holders with mechanical clamping provides superior clamping force and concentricity as well as excellent shock-absorbing properties. The tools are clamped via collets. The high precision collet holders FPC and FMC are well suited for high-performance and high-speed milling but they can be used for drilling, reaming and threading operations.
