About us
EMUGE-FRANKEN USA was established in 1984 to better service the North American market with localized inventory and technical support. With over 10,000 different stocked standard taps, thread mills, drills, end mills, tool holders, and workpiece clamping devices, EMUGEoffers standard products that are custom made items for others. In 2006, EMUGE had out grown its original location and moved into a new state-of-the-art facility in West Boylston, Massachusetts. The new facility houses EMUGE’s Technology Center where EMUGE skilled engineers host training seminars and help solve customer machining issues. In 2015, EMUGE started manufacturing products in the USA with the opening of a reconditioning center for Emuge cutting tools and we are proud to be a part of a revitalized manufacturing sector in New England.

Finishing a Goalie Mask with an EMUGE-FRANKEN Alu-Cut Ball End Mill Visit our website for more info about these amazing ball end mills: https://lnkd.in/gE8kYTjS This hockey goalie mask was made in two setups on a GROB G550 universal machining center, each based on the 5th Axis RockLock Workholding System. The heaviest roughing toolpaths were made easy, thanks to Mastercam’s OptiRough Toolpath and Emuge-Franken’s lineup of aluminum-specialized cutting tools. The intricate multi-axis finishing was handled by Mastercam’s Unified Multiaxis Toolpath, with VERICUT Software by CGTech machine simulation and the reliable code created through the Postability post processor, ensuring a smooth operation throughout.
