He is completely amoral and unable to understand loyalty (vs intimidation), friendship, or (most importantly) love.
Voldemort, born Tom Marvolo Riddle, was the orphan son of Tom Riddle Sr. and Merope Gaunt and was the last air of Salazar Slytherin.
