It was a pleasure to attend the AI Strategy Forum - AI Beyond the Hype with C-Level in Pfäffikon, Switzerland. The event brought together around 150 executives from all sectors, alongside a distinguished group of Swiss AI start-ups. The forum focused on practice-oriented strategies and use cases, enriched with application examples from leading companies and promising AI start-ups. Frank Diana, Principal Futurist at Tata Consultancy Services, delivered an insightful session titled “Reimagining the Future: A Journey Through the Looking Glass.” In his presentation, Frank guided delegates through a transformative journey, emphasising the importance of learning and unlearning. He identified signals predicting futures across various domains and demonstrated their impacts. Main points from his session included: - The significance of unlearning and learning in a constantly changing world and their role in technological advancement - The immense potential of AI and virtual reality in shaping our future - The notable pace at which sciences are converging, driving technology at an unprecedented speed
