Emendo Capital acted as financial adviser to Active Capital Company and E-Capital Equity Management on the sale of BMT Mercury Technology, a leading mercury and NORM waste management specialist, to REMONDIS Industrie Service, part of the REMONDIS Gruppe. This transaction further solidifies our strong track-record in the Benelux waste & recycling market.

Emendo Capital acted as exclusive financial adviser to Triton Partners on the acquisition of V&N Group, which controls the entities Visser & Smit Hanab, VolkerWessels Telecom and Homij, from VolkerWessels. V&N Group is a leading multi-utility service provider with dedicated focus on sustainable and digital solutions. This transaction further solidifies our strong track-record in the broader infrastructure service provider space, and marks our leading position in the underground infrastructure segment in the Netherlands after having advised on the sell-sides of Van Vulpen, Dynniq Energy, Stam&Co Infratechniek B.V. and Joulz Energy Solutions (now Volker Energy Solutions).

We would like to congratulate our client, Stedin, on the successful equity raise from the provinces of Utrecht and Zeeland, along with 9 municipalities in Utrecht and 12 in Zeeland.   Emendo is honored to have supported Stedin and the energy transition via this important transaction, which increases the cumulative amount of ordinary equity raised to ~€ 535m.   We express our sincere gratitude for the trust placed in us by the Stedin team throughout our collaboration on a series of key strategic projects over the past 6 years!

PerPetum has core expertise in solar PV where it has installed over 500MW of capacity to date. Emendo Capital acted as financial adviser and project leader on behalf of Stedin on the € 500m equity raise from the Dutch State. This capital contribution strengthens the grid operator’s equity and is required for further investment in the energy transition. This year, Stedin projects to invest approximately € 825m to expand and create the necessary capacity in the grid. Emendo is pleased to have been able to assist Stedin in this important transaction following our advisory role on various key projects including its financial policy, capital structure and successful issue of the earlier capital contribution tranche in 2021.
