BA, MA in mathematics from University of Texas/Austin. PhD in mathematics from Auburn University. Retired full professor of mathematics. Taught thirty nine years at Tuskegee University. Worked four years at Applied Research Laboratories at UT/Austin as a Research Associate. Also taught at Auburn University, Louisiana State University and Southern Union Community College. Took sabbaticals at Battelle Memorial Institute and Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. Had research fellowships with Georgia State University, NASA/Langley Research Center, NASA/Huntsville Research Center, US Army Corps of Engineers Waterways Experiment Station, US Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory, US Army Missile Command, US Army Ballistic Missile Command, Oak Ridge National Laboratory High-Performance Computing.
