Jan 4, 2015 at 19:57 comment added Asaf Karagila @darij: Given an open problem $P$ (read: we don't know how to prove $P$), we can reformulate it as the theorem "$P$ is not provable". You can either find a surprising proof for this fact (a la CH, etc.) or you can disprove it by proving $P$. :-)
