    Last week, we hosted our first public pop-up event, in the heart of SoHo, NYC, welcoming New Yorkers and visitors to experience the relaunch of our iconic Just Skin Tinted Moisturizer. The immersive experience offered brand education, a rare opportunity to meet the Chantecaille Beauté team, and try our new wave of Just Skin Tinted Moisturizer. All guests received color-matching consultation, free sample of the product along skincare and makeup samples. A large floral installation embodied our commitment to nature, bringing to life the carefully selected botanicals within the new formula. Guests had an opportunity to learn more about the brand and share their experience with friends via social media through unique content.     Beiersdorf Ecuador celebrated Care Beyond Skin Day in collaboration with Plan International, during this day we visited a school to paint classrooms improving the spaces where students learn and live together on a daily basis and we create a mural which represent our committed to creating meaningful impact. We planted different types of flora to decorate the school's gardens and green areas, thus promoting a more natural and welcoming environment. This initiative not only sought to improve the school's physical facilities, but also to foster a sense of community and care for the environment. The collaboration between Beiersdorf Ecuador and Plan International is an example of how social commitment and teamwork can have a positive impact on the education and well-being of young people. Together, we're transferring our purpose into action, making a real difference for people and the environment.     How we overcame a challenge and even won an award for it! 🏆💙    Great news: We’ve just won the “Plastic Packaging Product of the Year Award” at the Plastic Recycling Show Europe (PRSE) 2024 in Amsterdam. For what? For our #NIVEASun Lotion Bottle that is now entirely made from post-consumer recycled plastic (so-called PCR)! ♻️    Overcoming the quality-related challenges of PCR was no easy feat. But through excellent #teamwork – both internally and with our partner Morssinkhof - Rymoplast – we developed and implemented PCR qualities that meet our high quality standards. 💡     This achievement once again brings us closer to our packaging and climate targets. With our CARE BEYOND SKIN Sustainability Agenda, we want to reach 30% recycled material in our packaging by 2025 (and we achieved 16% so far). Did you know that the use of #recycledmaterial is directly linked to CO2e emissions? Yes, recycled plastic has significantly a lower carbon footprint than virgin plastic. So, we’re happy to have won this prize, but even more #ProudToB pushing our transformation towards #NetZero so dedicatedly across teams at #Beiersdorf.     #CareBeyondSkin#Sustainability #Recycling #Circularity

    Beiersdorf Perú celebrated the second edition of the Care Beyond Skin Day in collaboration with the Asociación de las Bienaventuranzas, a home that takes in children, adolescents, young people and older adults in a situation of abandonment, with physical or psychiatric illnesses and/or special educational needs. We are proud of our ongoing commitment to contributing to society. Let's unite as one global team and outdo ourselves. Let's exceed expectations. Let’s create real impact.   During this day, various workshops were held, such as painting, dancing, jewelry and gardening, with the aim of sharing and spending quality time with the entire population of the shelter. In addition, maintenance work was carried out to improve the facilities of the home.   Spending Care Beyond Skin Day 2024 with our Beiersdorf colleagues was a fantastic experience!     🌟 Unlocking Potential Through Collaboration 🌟 This spring, we at Beiersdorf partnered with Accenture Song and the ReDI School of Digital Integration to open new doors for refugees in the creative and communications industry. The pilot course brought together 15 dedicated students, meeting twice a week in the evenings to develop their skills and craft pathways into the industry. Guided by expert trainers, these talented learners worked on a project for our brand NIVEA Hair, culminating in an innovative campaign pitch. The students' dedication and creativity were evident in their successful pitch presentation, showcasing their remarkable ideas and potential. This pilot not only demonstrated the incredible capabilities of our participants but also highlighted the power of collaboration and integration. Among our talented participants was Veronika Pluzhnikova, who shared: "Participating in the ReDi Creative Communication course was an outstanding experience for me. I learned a great deal about working in a creative field and had the opportunity to meet many talented professionals. This project was a valuable learning experience and helped boost my confidence in my abilities." We’re excited to expand this initiative to other ReDI schools and industry partners.
