What an amazing event and process – just last week! Coller Circle- A First-time International Community Event which expressed and demonstrated a rare vote of confidence in Israeli Food & Agri tech startups. During these days when investments and liquidity in startups have become very rare, our goal is to create contact circles to help with global exposure and cross-border financing options. This was an amazing initiative by Ilanit Kabessa-Cohen, leader of the Foodtech track in the competition and managing partner of URIKA PARTNERS in cooperation and under the leadership of the competition team Dr. Eyal Benjamin, Orli Arbel, Erez Gavish, and Doron Simhi along with the full support and motivation to create these amazing meaningful connections from Jeremy Coller and CPT Capital. The Coller-Circle, which was organized and held last week (virtually) by the Coller Institute of Venture in the School of Management at Tel Aviv University, included 17 venture capital funds from the international arena, who understand the value and benefits of cooperation with the Israeli Agri-Food ecosystem. Over 100 amazing startups submitted applications while the VCs rated about 30 and finally, 10 presented a professional pitch and answered questions live from the managers of the VCs.
