About us
In the organization we provide the infrastructure for solving global food industry challenges and empower the next leaders to advance breakthrough solutions for the industry by uncovering strategic human capital for challenges as opportunities and connecting to careers in the field. We are committed to preserving the values of human rights, animal welfare, and the environment. 🟣 We manage non-academic programs at 6 leading academic institutions in Israel. These programs are designed for high-quality human capital, tailored to the institution's nature. Problem-solving in the industry is achieved through exposure to lectures in the field, and it culminates in industry integration at the end of the program through specialization, positions, and entrepreneurship development. Graduates of the programs integrate into the industry and establish Ventures. 🟣 We organize events and national hackathons in the food tech field for strategic target audiences to promote the industry. As a result, Ventures have emerged that are currently in development stages. 🟣 We broadcast the leading food tech podcast in Israel. The podcast uncovers the behind-the-scenes of the food industry and promotes current opportunities to advance the industry from influential figures in the food tech field. It is available on selected platforms and on 106.2 FM.

Inspiration for the Future Generation 💫 It was amazing to see the positive impact this experience had on our participants in our programs at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. We are proud to be the bridge connecting the next generation of food industry leaders with the industry itself. Thanks to an incredible #ecosystem and inspiring individuals like the Golan brothers at Brevel, we can continue to see our graduates launching innovative ventures and leading the field forward ✨ As part of our programs, participants go on tours of various #Foodtech companies. During these tours, they are exposed to groundbreaking technologies and the inspiring vision of companies working to improve and promote a #sustainable food industry. This time, the participants had the privilege of hearing the fascinating story of Yonatan Golan, Matan Golan and Ido Golan. Thank you to Brevel for the amazing hospitality and inspiration! 💜 And thanks to our partners at the following universities: Yazamut 360° ASPER-HUJI Innovate

From an Israeli Traditional Meat Company to #New_Meat 🌤 Join us to hear about זוגלובק - Soglowek's journey from the dream of a world without slaughterhouses to developing the next generation of meat under the brand Wonders of Nature. This initiative aims to fulfill the vision that Eli Soglowek began in the 1990s when he was one of the first to think about introducing new meat into traditional meat refrigerators. We ate and spoke with Ronit Davidovitch, CEO of Wonders of Nature and VP of Innovation at Soglowek, about the company's future and learned how the knowledge of the traditional company aids in developing the next generation of meat 🧪🥩 The link to listen is in the first comment (the episode in Hebrew) 🎧 Nir Zut | Noy Bachar | Audioversity - קול האוניברסיטה

To nourish a better future, we must nourish ourselves 😜 we gathered at our CEO Nir Zut's home for an incredible #Shavuot dinner with Chef Omer Alony 🌾, also our program manager at Tel Aviv University. Omer prepared a phenomenal #plant_based meal with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, complemented by delicious Israeli #FoodTech products. Nir’s home, surrounded by rescued animals, nature, and fruit trees reflects his deep connection to nature and sustainability, inspiring our mission at FoodTech Nation. We were honored to host Noga Sela Shalev, CEO of FRESH START FoodTech Incubator IL and Oded Halevi, PhD, head of science at Meala Foodtech, alongside 31 enthusiastic new students. Noga shared insights on food-tech trends, emphasizing "sustainable protein" over "alternative protein" and explored the fundamental question: why food-tech? Oded then introduced Meala, discussing the challenges of developing meat substitutes, including texture, health, appearance, flavor, and aroma. Thank you, Noga and Oded, for an enriching session! Special thanks to the thub Technion and the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Engineering, Technion for their support. We’re excited for the upcoming sessions and thrilled to have gathered 31 food-tech enthusiasts to start the program! Neta Soto Shay Moguiliansky Gabriela Amiram Shachar Heppner oren saig
