In collaboration with the Coller Institute of Venture at Tel Aviv University we presents our unique multidisciplinary program. Our program allows selected students to gain exposure to the #Foodtech industry and create initial strategic connections with leading #Ecosystem figures. Exciting news from #Jerusalem! 📣 We are proud to announce the launch of the #first unique FoodTech program in Jerusalem at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem- Givat Ram campus 🎉 The program focuses on scientific entrepreneurship and offers a rare opportunity for 30 selected students from various faculties to enter the world of #FoodTech. The participants will learn from leading researchers and industry experts and contribute to the future of the food and agriculture industry. Omer prepared a phenomenal #plant_based meal with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, complemented by delicious Israeli #FoodTech products. Nir’s home, surrounded by rescued animals, nature, and fruit trees reflects his deep connection to nature and sustainability, inspiring our mission at FoodTech Nation. Noam Leizer led a unique activity on #innovative problem-solving, sparking creative thinking and teamwork 🧠 Thank you to our amazing program managers in 2024 for enriching the food industry with #talents and upcoming #ventures that will make it healthier and sustainable for us all 💜

Last Sunday, we had our first session for the current semester at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology program! We were honored to host Noga Sela Shalev, CEO of FRESH START FoodTech Incubator IL and Oded Halevi, PhD, head of science at Meala Foodtech, alongside 31 enthusiastic new students. Noga shared insights on food-tech trends, emphasizing "sustainable protein" over "alternative protein" and explored the fundamental question: why food-tech? Oded then introduced Meala, discussing the challenges of developing meat substitutes, including texture, health, appearance, flavor, and aroma. Thank you, Noga and Oded, for an enriching session!
