We have an opportunity in our Calderys group Communications Team with a specific focus on 𝗛𝗪𝗜, the Americas region of the Calderys group, based in 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝘁𝘀𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗵, 𝗣𝗔 (𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀), 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘆 (𝗠𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗰𝗼) or 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘁á (𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗹). The Internal Communications Officer collaborates closely with all the comms team members in their respective topics, on global topics and with a specific focus on the Americas region HarbisonWalker International. She/He will also work in strong coordination with the External Communications Manager to plan social media content for the region that drives engagement through relevant channels. The increasing use of alternative fuels in #cement production has led to increased wear on kiln refractories. 🔎 Discover Our Site - White Cloud, MI! 🚀 Calderys produces a series of videos titled ‘Discover our Sites’, highlighting the services, capabilities, and key statistics for specific locations throughout the global Group. HWI first published a video for our ATRC location, and is excited to share the latest from our Americas region – our White Cloud, MI manufacturing plant! Located in Central Michigan, White Cloud is our largest mag-carbon production facility. The facility has been in operation since September 1977, and covers 125,000 square feet. It has a total capacity of 100,000 metric tons of brick and monolithic products per year, servicing the increasing demand of the Iron & Steel industry. 🏭 Today White Cloud has over 100 employees, maintaining exceptional quality standards and a strong commitment to both health and safety. It is an ISO 9001-2015 certified plant, recognized for its efforts in quality, health and safety, plus environmental and energy management. This week, our very own Director of Applications Bryn Snow, along with Jeanne Elliott, ACP, Marisol Ocampo, and Washington Mills President Anne Williams, gathered for a panel discussion on women in refractories at the Annual Spring Meeting of The Refractories Institute (TRI).
