We're thrilled to announce the inauguration of an expanded lance production line at #Katni, marking a significant milestone in our journey towards innovation and sustainability. On July 3rd, 2024, a new oven and an extended shed were officially inaugurated by Mr. Ish Mohan Garg, Senior Vice President APAC, alongside our dedicated operation and sales teams. 💡 Key Highlights of this expansion: 𝗢𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲: Our new production line doubles the capacity, ensuring we cater to the rapidly growing steel market efficiently. 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀: The new oven features dual fuel-fired technology using LNG (Liquified Natural Gas) as the primary fuel and LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) as the secondary fuel, contributing significantly to our carbon emission reduction goals. 👏 Congratulations to the Katni teams for this achievement and for their dedication to advancing sustainable innovations. 🌟 Going back to our participation to the 𝗣𝗥𝗘 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀. Today, we are proud to highlight the 3rd prize winner: 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘀 𝗢𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀! 🏆 At our plant of Oosterhout, Netherlands, conveyor belts had to be cleaned around 3 times per shift to avoid contamination. This task involved various hazards, such as dust, small space, risk of bumping and bruising.  A complete redesign by the local site team has taken place to remove this handling. The system is replaced by a fully automatic vibrating dosing system. 🎉 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟯𝟬 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗶𝗿-𝗱𝗲-𝗕𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗲 (𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲)! On June 15th, Calderys celebrated the 𝟯𝟬𝘁𝗵 anniversary of the Montoir-de-Bretagne plant with our amazing employees and their families. 💡 The day was filled with engaging presentations about the wider activities of the Group and funny, educational games for the children. It was an opportunity to look back at the plant’s journey, comparing pictures from 𝟭𝟵𝟵𝟰 with the present-day plant in 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰. Seeing the evolution and progress over the years was truly inspiring. 🔍 Participants also enjoyed quality time with their families, exploring the plant and learning about #Calderys’ operations. It was a day of reflection, appreciation, and looking forward to the future. A huge thanks to everyone who made this event memorable!
