Tame Impala‘s Kevin Parker, is collaborating with Parisian fashion brand A.P.C. for a capsule collection. Titled “Interaction #25: Tame Impala,” the collection explores “psychedelic minimalism” through A.P.C.’s signature minimalist design approach.
Inspired by the ’70s Australian communes and Parker’s meditation practice, the unisex collection features sustainably sourced materials in muted pastel tones. Items include alpaca sweaters, corduroy trousers and accessories spanning bucket hats to a shoulder bag. The collection aims to complement Tame Impala’s musical aesthetic, with pieces featuring song lyrics and psychedelic-inspired designs.
A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou praised Tame Impala’s music as a synthesis of his favorite sounds since the 1960s. The collaboration is part of A.P.C.’s ongoing series, which has previously featured brands like Lacoste and Sacai, as well as icons from Catherine Deneuve to Kid Cudi.
Launching on July 18, 12 p.m. GMT online and in stores, the collection will be offered from XXS to XXL sizes.
