There it was, video of former President Obama saying, “Stay woke, b*****s.” But it wasn’t him, of course. It was Obama’s face, with comedian Jordan Peele’s mouth — and voice — superimposed seamlessly. The purpose of this stunt was to raise awareness — that the false news phenomenon was coming to video and that the creations, though not entirely convincing, could look alarmingly real.
