We're thrilled to announce our work with ESB in Ireland, enabling hourly matched green energy reports for their commercial customers. Data from ESB’s Carnsore wind farm was matched to customers hourly consumption, demonstrating that the data could be matched accurately and reported immediately to customers. This means unprecedented levels of transparency for commercial customers who can improve their tracking and reporting. As a Commercial Associate, I dance at many parties; from progressing client projects and reformatting data to streamlining internal processes and writing content (check out our monthly newsletter, the Carbon-Free Chronicles in the comments). 📈 What do you want to achieve with Granular Energy? I have a fantastic opportunity to learn about and work in multiple areas, while paving the way towards decarbonized electricity grids. It’s the best of both worlds as I get to support a cause I’m passionate about and learn skills from different types of project! 🎉 Favourite thing here? How joyous, interactive and interesting my colleagues are. They’re a pleasure to work with, and outside of the “office” they’re consistently off on cool adventures. 🌳 Fact or hobby? At Granular Energy, we're here to ensure you know exactly how green your charge is ⬇️ We are thrilled to announce our latest project in collaboration with LichtBlick SE, decarbon1ze GmbH and Energy Track and Trace, bringing new levels of transparency to EV chargers at the charging station. Our project implements granular certificates of origin for green electricity, issued on a quarter-hourly basis. This innovative approach allows drivers to know which asset the charged power came from down to the quarter-hourly basis. We are very excited to bring granular certificates to real-world use cases, empowering customers to make more informed decisions about their power consumption.
