🚀 Les premiers à partir dans l'espace avec Ariane 6 La date du premier lancement d’Ariane 6 a été fixée au 9 juillet. Ce vol inaugural, principalement un vol de qualification, embarquera néanmoins plusieurs charges utiles, détaillées dans l’infographie ci-dessous, réparties en quatre catégories : 🔥Capsules de rentrée : Bikini et SpaceCase SCX-01 testeront leur résistance thermique en rentrant dans l'atmosphère depuis une altitude de 600 km. 🛰️Smallsats : Deux petits satellites seront mis en orbite, l'un équipé d'une nouvelle technologie pour le suivi de la faune depuis l'espace, et l'autre d’une plateforme de calcul graphique haute performance. 🛰️Cubesats : Sept cubesats seront déployés via deux dispensers pour diverses missions, telles que l'amélioration des prévisions météorologiques, la démonstration de technologie d'impression 3D en orbite, et l'observation de la Terre. 🔬Expériences scientifiques : Plusieurs expériences resteront attachées à la partie haute du lanceur pour mesurer les radiations solaires, le champ magnétique terrestre, étudier le rayonnement thermique de différents matériaux, ou encore valider de nouvelles méthodes de transmission de données sans fil. Ces charges utiles ont été sélectionnées par l'Agence Spatiale Européenne, qui leur offre ainsi l'opportunité d'utiliser le vol inaugural, dans une limite fixée à 80 kg cumulé pour les expériences et 800 kg pour les charges utiles larguées en orbite. Bien en dessous de la capacité d'Ariane 6, mais il est important de rappeler que l’objectif principal est la vérification du lanceur et de son comportement durant toute la mission. Ce lancement contribue à la qualification de tout le système de lancement d’Ariane 6, et ouvrira la voie à sa future carrière commerciale, qui débutera notamment avec le déploiement du satellite militaire français CSO-3 prévu pour fin 2024.
