Q1: Can we use a photo of Dream from the face reveal video?
A1: Unless a photo of Dream is released under a free license, no. Q2: Why doesn't X YouTuber/Twitch Streamer have an article about them?
A2: If they are notable enough to warrant inclusion on Wikipedia, then you are welcome to make one. If you need help, the Teahouse is a good place to start. Q3: Why are the allegations of Dream's sexual misconduct towards minors not mentioned?
A3: Because they are very contentious statements that need to be covered by sources Wikipedia considers reliable, and currently, no such sources have covered it. These types of statements should be taken with care (or removed if poorly sourced or not sourced at all), especially in a biography article like this one. See the policy for contentious statements in Wikipedia biographies. |

Sourcing for misconduct
[edit]I found a revision of this article that was reverted and it has somewhat left me confused. One of the sources cited in that revision mentioning the sexual misconduct allegations is Dot Esports, with its WP:VG/S listing saying that it is reliable.[1] However, the person who did the revert claimed that it was it was unreliable for BLP use. On the VG/S entry though, there is nothing explicitly saying that it should not be used in BLPs, and as far as I know, I haven't seen anyone talk about the use of Dot Esports in biographical articles. Should we:
A: Mention the sexual misconduct allegations in passing, or
B: Not mention them at all and wait for other reliable sources to come out about the matter

- I don't believe that these allegations are even remotely due. This is because exceptional claims require exceptional sources. We would need sources with a high reputation for being reliable, such as the BBC, Reuters, CNN, etc. Dream is one of the most famous Minecraft YouTubers, or even YouTubers in general, in the world, so he gets a lot of coverage by these highly reputable sources. They have not made any comments about these allegations, and there is probably a reason behind this. —Panamitsu (talk) 12:10, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
- Agreed. These are very serious allegations, and they've only been covered by low quality sources. Hemiauchenia (talk) 16:06, 25 April 2024 (UTC)

- Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. '''[[User:CanonNi]]''' (talk • contribs) 01:18, 17 May 2024 (UTC)
Name change
[edit]Currently, "Dream"s real name is written in the article as "Clay". I think this should be updated to his full name which is "Clayton Ray Huff". Over here is his linkedin page confirming his identity: [1]https://www.linkedin.com/in/clayton-ray-huff-1a5425289/
Editor comments say that the name should not be changed without user consensus, and I think it's about time the name gets updated. Are there any reasons not to change his name? Googoogootoo (talk) 10:21, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
