The 1984 Illinois Republican presidential primary was held on March 20, 1984, in the U.S. state of Illinois as one of the Republican Party's statewide nomination contests ahead of the 1984 presidential election. Incumbent Republican President Ronald Reagan won the primary easily without a competitor, but a Write-in candidate has appearance on the ballot, but only received 0.06% of the popular vote. No delegates were in the presidential primary.[1][2]

President Reagan won the primary in a landslide, received over 99.9% of the popular vote, write-in candidate received 0.06% of the popular vote. No delegates were in the presidential primary.
