I reverted all of those edits that changed this template from its intended use, a side box, to that of a navbox. I took the last version of the navbox to Template:Illinois elections. This change should not have been made to this template, especially with no discussion, at least on the appropriate talk page. – Muboshgu (talk) 17:06, 21 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm on an old and slow work computer right now and so I'm having trouble changing all of these Illinois election pages, but rest assured that any that remain by tonight, I'll change. Meanwhile, I've started converting this template to a sidebox template using Template:Sidebar with collapsible lists at User:Muboshgu/Election sidebar template. That'll be done by the weekend. – Muboshgu (talk) 17:28, 21 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Could I ask why? All other election infoboxes I know of are in the footer format (e.g. {{California gubernatorial elections}} and the other 300 or so), and this looks somewhat messy as a side box as there are so many sections. Number 57 19:38, 21 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion in progress

[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Template talk:Elections in Alabama which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 09:04, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
