We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our Pulheim office. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a startup environment, where initiative, problem-solving skills, and creativity are highly valued. The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for understanding project requirements, asking relevant questions, and implementing designs using Figma. This is a hands-on role that requires someone who can take ownership of projects and drive them to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and user needs.
Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our digital services, focusing on usability and accessibility.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design concepts.
Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing, and industry best practices.
Work closely with developers to ensure smooth implementation of designs.
Maintain and update design documentation as needed.
Contribute to the development of Cubonic's design system and UI/UX guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
Promising portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects, with a focus on web and mobile applications.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Solid understanding of design principles, user-centered design methodologies, and accessibility standards.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
Nice To Have
Experience designing interfaces for automotive or autonomous vehicle applications.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
