Who We’re Looking For:

As a key member of the Optilume International Sales team, the Territory Manager – South-East Germany & Austria is responsible for growing clinical adoption and acceptance of Optilume® Urethral DCB for the treatment of anterior urethral stricture in the defined territory and establishing it as the standard treatment of choice for Urology healthcare professionals, and adult males suffering from anterior urethral stricture disease.


This role is a direct result of rapid growth and requires a highly determined and motivated individual focused on executing clinical and commercial objectives to achieve operational targets. The individual will need to balance between implementation of in-field programs, such as clinical support and professional education, and commercial effectiveness working with external stakeholders including clinicians and administration, as well as Laborie internal functional areas, to ensure commercial success of the technology within the business unit.


This role will build upon the foundations that have been built and requires a motivated self-starter who is willing to be coached to deliver positive change both professionally and commercially. Furthermore, this position is responsible for continuing the best-in-class customer service Laborie is renowned for contributing to the growth of the product portfolio and development of a highly successful business unit within Laborie.

About the Role:

  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales quota for the defined territory
  • Maintain a monthly and quarterly territory plan that outlines territory sales objectives and areas of opportunity and growth
  • Effectively communicate the Optilume® Urethral DCB value proposition
  • Qualify, train, assess, and develop accounts to adopt the Optilume Urethral DCB as an integral part of their urethral stricture practice with the goal of demonstrating high account adoption and retention
  • Communicate current market conditions and recommend improvements to the commercial process
  • Partner with the Professional Education team to deliver outstanding clinical training support to Urology healthcare professionals so that they, and their departments, can quickly become clinically independent using Optilume Urethral DCB

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken German
  • Advanced in both written and spoken English – minimum B2
  • Ability to travel extensively – up to 80%
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical sales within the Urology space or Operating Room

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in selling innovative products and/or launching new products into market
  • Experience introducing market development programs to hospitals and/or physician practices
  • Strong local relationships within the healthcare community in specified geographic area
