Linux System Engineer (f/m/d)

Your Tasks

• Manage and improve the virtualization and hypervisor stack for cloud operations.
• Ensure the health and availability of virtual servers for customers.
• Plan and execute uninterrupted deployments for software and configurations.
• Participate in diverse projects to introduce and enhance server generations, products, and features.
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of infrastructure visions and plans.
• Coordinate with data center teams for commissioning new servers.
• Maintain both physical and virtual infrastructure.
• Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot services.
• Improve operational tools, automation, monitoring, alerting, and reporting systems.
  
  

Your Profile

• Extensive experience in administering Linux servers, preferably Debian or Ubuntu.
• Proven experience in deploying software and configurations without downtime in production environments.
• Proficiency with SaltStack or Ansible, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Strong understanding of virtualization and server networking.
• Advanced skills in Bash scripting; Python experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Git; experience with merge conflicts, feature branches, merge requests, and continuous integration (CI/CD) is advantageous.
• Proficient in English (C1) and German (B2).
