We are supporting a leading eCommerce business in their search for a HR Assistant to join their team on a Freelance basis. This person should have atleast 1 years experience in a professional setting, and keen to utilise existing knoweldge whilst learning new skills with a reputable company.
Your Responsibilities
Address HR inquiries from German-based employees and managers
Handle administrative personnel tasks, such as preparing employment contracts, amendments, and certificates
Maintain and update HR records, employee files, reporting, and compliance data (Workday)
Serve as the primary contact for health insurers and authorities
Collaborate with other teams (e.g., Talent Engagement, Payroll)
Your Experience
Preferred: Degree or certificate in Human Resources or related field
Preferred: 1+ years of HR or recruiting experience
Experience with personnel information systems (e.g., Workday) and case management systems
Proficient in written and spoken German and English
Experience with MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
Comfortable in a fast-paced, adaptable environment
Capable of analysing information, diagnosing problems, and recommending solutions
Ideal for juniors, post work student placements and those looking to expand their knowledge in the space.
Location: Berlin Start Date: July 2024 Initial Contract Length: 6 Months Capacity: 40hrs per week
