The role

Bullish DE is looking for an experienced Finance and Accounting Manager to lead the core business modeling, planning and management reporting activities with a specific focus on the Financial Services business and be a core member of our Group Finance Team.



Key responsibilities

  • Lead and act as the key point of contact for all financial planning and budgeting matters.
  • Provide active support on all financial planning and budgeting matters across Bullish DE’s operations.
  • Design flexible and scalable business models by accurately presenting business plans and initiatives into key drivers and financial metrics to help senior management make informed decisions.
  • To prepare quarterly reforecasts and annual operating plans, in collaboration with business unit leaders and functional leaders.
  • To provide timely monthly management reports and work closely with the financial accounting team to ensure that management reports provide accurate information for the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
  • Provide high-quality financial analysis and commentary for presentation to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
  • Support any project-driven management reporting and forecasting requirements and be prepared to handle queries from external parties independently.
  • Be prepared to get hands-on and expand sphere of influence in resolving issues and exploiting new opportunities as they arise.



Experience & Qualifications

  • BA in Finance/Accounting or relevant subject.
  • Experience of regulatory reporting in regards to EMIR and MIFIR reporting requirements are required.
  • CPA or Chartered Accountant and relevant in-house finance and accounting experience highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strong technical capabilities into commercial judgment.
  • Experience in listed/sizeable organizations is preferred, in addition to the ability to adjust to a fast-growing and dynamic start-up environment. Must be willing to take on new challenges and be adaptive to a fast-paced work environment where new business initiatives are frequently introduced.
  • Strong financial modeling and analysis skills, and proven record of hands-on experience in building models from scratch.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in providing support to the wider Group Finance team when needed.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in a multinational environment.
  • A team player and has demonstrated ability to collaborate across distances and organizational boundaries. Able to work effectively with people from varied professional disciplines.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with Workday or Oracle financial systems is preferred, solid understanding of IT and other business systems in terms of leveraging these systems to enhance functional efficiencies.
  • Be able to collaborate with remote teams and deal with diversity of regional culture.
  • Experience in a blockchain, fintech or financial services environment is preferred.
  • Must be proficient in English. German language is strongly preferred.
  • The successful applicant must be eligible to work in the member states of the European Union.
