Responsibility Area


Objectives:


A Country Manager ensures the smooth operation of a company in specific geographic location and has an in-depth understanding of the business he/she represents in the local market.

He/she manages and is responsible for internal commercial teams as well as external partnerships depending on Go to Market Strategy.

He/she has legal responsibility for affiliate, business, people, compliance with all local laws and regulations. This includes also personal accountability.


  • Setting commercial strategy, defining Go to Market models and achieving business goals and revenue targets.
  • Overseeing daily operations, managing budgets, and setting performance objectives.
  • Recruiting, training, and supporting direct reports as well as conducting regular performance appraisals.
  • Identifying, securing, driving and monitoring cooperation with external partners for markets / segments / product for which company decides to utilize 3rd party.
  • Developing and implementing business, marketing, and advertising plans.
  • Managing internal and external stakeholder relations and negotiating contracts
  • Being representative and ambassador of company in discussions and negotiation with local authorities
  • Planning, evaluating, and optimizing operations to be efficient and cost-effective.
  • Ensuring products and services comply with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Ensuring company standards and procedures are followed.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, analyses, and reports of operations and finances.
  • Seeking new business opportunities in the country and securing contracts for the company
  • Securing long-term relationships by maintaining ethical customer relations
