Commodity Manager (M/F/D)

As a Commodity Manager, you will play a critical role in our procurement strategy by identifying, negotiating, and managing relationships with key suppliers. You will ensure the best value for our company by securing high-quality materials and services at competitive prices. Your strategic insights will help shape our procurement policies and drive success to a growing procurement function

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet the company's goals.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve the best possible terms for the company.
• Monitor market trends and supply chain risks to ensure a stable and cost-effective supply of materials.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their needs and align procurement strategies accordingly.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
• Analyse and report on procurement performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic procurement or a similar role.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.#
