We are working with a dynamic and innovative supplier management platform, dedicated to revolutionising the way businesses engage with their supply chain. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for driving growth, we're seeking a motivated and ambitious Business Development Representative to join their team to focus on the DACH region.


Job Description:

As a Business Development Representative, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by identifying and nurturing new business opportunities. You'll be responsible for researching and prospecting potential clients, engaging with decision-makers, and effectively communicating the value proposition of the solution. Your primary objective will be to generate new leads, build strong relationships with prospects, and ultimately contribute to the expansion of their customer base.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
  • Prospect and qualify leads through cold calling, emailing, networking, and other outbound sales techniques.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities through effective lead generation and qualification.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted outreach strategies and campaigns.
  • Schedule and conduct product demonstrations or presentations for prospective clients.
  • Manage and update CRM system with accurate lead and activity information.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in B2B SaaS.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Native German speaker
