Ingo is a long-term veteran of the automotive industry. He started his career at Robert Bosch, the German engineering and technology company, before moving to Korea Automotive Motor Corporation and then UAES, a joint venture between the Bosch Group and Chinese automotive company Zhonglian Automotive Electronics, to develop electric and hybrid motor technologies. 🔋 Two Battery Recycling investments in one week! ♻ We're thrilled to announce two groundbreaking investments in the battery recycling sector, underscoring our unwavering commitment to sustainability and innovation. 🚀 💡 First up, we're proud to have participated in the largest investment round ever raised by a European battery recycling company, with Aachen-based cylib securing a €55 million. This investment will enable cylib to become Europe's leading battery recycler, offering a proprietary technology for the end-to-end recycling of lithium-ion batteries. The round was led by World Fund & Porsche Ventures.🌱 💡 On the other side of the Atlantic, US-based Li Industries closed their $36 million investment round, a pioneer in the recycling of low/no cobalt batteries. Their unique Direct E2ETM recycling technology sets a new standard for the sustainable and economical recycling of lithium-ion batteries.
