It's been almost a month since the biggest Q-Summit ever took place! 🚀💙 From thought-provoking exchanges to captivating speeches, from groundbreaking pitches to an amazing afterparty - the memories of those two days still echo within us!🌟 A heartfelt gratitude once again to our partners, who made all of this happen. Yet, the true stars are undeniably our participants and their energy, that turned this event into everlasting memories. 🙌 We are fully aware that pictures can't even capture half of the fun. Day Two of Q-summit 2024 continued the momentum from a successful first day, offering more captivating panels, speeches and other formats like campfire sessions, sparking engaging discussions among participants. 🚀 💡 The day started with an enlightening speech delivered by Philipp Gerbert, CEO of TUM Venture Labs, on fostering entrepreneurship within deep tech and life science startups. Following that was our panel discussion featuring the topic of business in a globalized world, our panelists Nazanin Daneshvar, Matthias Notz and Shoba Purushothaman shared their personal experiences with founding around the world. Our fantastic lineup continued throughout the day with speeches from Jan Thomas, Alexander Bellin, Maximilian Meyer, Dr. Veronika von Heise-Rotenburg, Carmen Hentschel and Johannes Kliesch. Additionally, the AI Panel featuring Sophia Rödiger, Christoph Zoeller,DALITH Steiger-Gablinger💃🏻🎗️, and Oliver Hummel captivated our audience and highlighted the future potential of AI. Similar to Day One, Friday also featured various side events like the VC Breakfast by STYX and seed + speed Ventures, the Panel on Israeli Startup Culture, and our female brunch. Hosted by Revent, it focused on breaking barriers in tech as a woman and provided participants with insights while enjoying a tasty brunch. 🥐 Attendees had a variety of activities to choose from, including skill-building workshops offered by Creandum, Visionaries Club, Emma – The Sleep Company, Porsche Ventures, Upvest and many others, as well as campfire sessions by professionals like Alexander Schwoerer, Owner of PERI and Harald Braunstein, Founder of ALAIKA Advisory. Numerous speed dating sessions with companies such as coparion, smatch and RWE Consulting, LLC enabled attendees to connect directly with representatives, fostering valuable networking opportunities and potential career prospects. For lunch, participants enjoyed delicious sandwiches prepared by dean&david Franchise GmbH, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of our Innovillage. The warm weather invited people to step outside and network in a casual atmosphere. 🌤 The day culminated in one of our highlights - the thrilling Pitchbattle finale. After 5 exciting pitches from early stage startups followed by questions from an esteemed panel of judges, HospiChef emerged as the winner, claiming a prize of €6000, sponsored by PwC and Vindelici Advisors. 🎉 As the sun set, the afterparty buzzed with excitement, celebrating the hard work and dedication invested in Q-summit 2024. Each moment—whether in meetings, calls, or early mornings—contributed to the success of this event. At this point, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for the wonderful collaboration with all partners who made Q-Summit 2024 possible. A huge thanks also goes out to the entire coreteam, all Q-Summit members, and external helpers, who through their hard work and dedication brought the conference to life. 🌟 See you next year! 💙

💙Two weeks ago, the 7th Q-Summit at the University of Mannheim took place, marking our biggest Q ever! Let's revisit the highlights of our first day and explore what Q24 had to offer for over 1400 participants. ✨The day started with an energetic opening by our Board Members Laura and Frederik, followed by an insightful speech from Mark D. Orlic, representing our flagship partner PwC. Later on, inspiring speeches by Finn Age Hänsel, Nora Blum and the fireside chat with Robert Jäckle and Orhan Köroglu filled the main stage with young talents. 💡Throughout the day, attendees were treated to dynamic panels on topics like "Breaking from MBB into the startup world”, featuring engaging personalities such as David Strittmatter, Maximilian Schubert and Philipp Emig. The next panel discussion, led by Uwe Schüder, Sarah Emmerich and Christopher Halbig, discussed the path of influencers becoming entrepreneurs. Lennardt Hachmeister, Julius Wiesenhütter, David Stefan Fischer and Christian Michaeli shared their perspectives on the power of choice between VC and bootstrapped funding. Thank you to our moderator Olivia Kinghorst for guiding us through the mainstage program. 🚀In Addition, skill-building workshops were hosted by outstanding partners like HV Capital, McKinsey & Company, PERI, coparion, smatch and many more. This year's new format, the Qube, provided a platform for young startups to pitch in a private setting with investors, followed by 1:1 meetings for potential investments. 🤝Students had the opportunity for exciting speeddating sessions with partners such as Vindelici Advisors, Enpal and PwC Deutschland, while various campfire sessions allowed participants to engage personally with CEOs, founders and professionals from Selfapy, SevenVentures, Picus Capital and many others. The Visionaries Club Lunch and PwC Corporate Dinner provided moments of inspiration and connection for our partners. 🧠Despite the rainy weather, the Innovillage was bustling with activity, offering attendees the chance to explore intriguing partnerships and witness our team in action. ⚡️The afternoon was highlighted by the Hackathon pitch battle, showcasing the results of 24 hours of hacking and coding by four amazing finalists. 💙To cap off the evening, an unforgettable cocktail night by Absolut Sensations, accompanied by live music, provided the perfect conclusion to an exceptional first day at Q24. #qsummit #partners #universityofmannheim #conference #innovation #entrepreneurship

𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧!   Das war mein Kurzimpuls für die Teilnehmenden des diesjährigen Q-Summit. Vergangene Woche wurde die BWL-Fakultät in der Uni Mannheim wieder mal ein Ort für Inspiration und Innovation. Eine Ausstellungsmesse mit namhaften Firmen, Areas zum Arbeiten und Vernetzen, spaßigen Spielen, leckerem Essen, volle Goodie-Bags und gute Stimmung. Als besonderes Highlight der Q-Hack mit kniffligen zukunftsweisenden Challenges im Bereich AI und Nachhaltigkeit von Microsoft, IBM, PwC und Exxeta.   Zwischen dem finalen Pitch Battle und der Ehrung des besten Teams hatte ich die Möglichkeit, eine kleine Speech zu halten und mit den Hacker*innen zu sprechen. Wie ein Hackathon auf das Gründen und die Berufswelt vorbereitet? Welche Kenntnisse jeder daraus mitnehmen kann? Warum ich selbst ein riesengroßer Hackathon-Fan bin? Das habe ich ihnen mit auf den Weg gegeben.   Spannende Pitches und ein cooles Event, auf das allen stolz sein können!
