We were delighted to organise a workshop together with the Arbeitskreis Börse e.V. - Studenten der Universität Mannheim (AKB) at the University of Mannheim a week ago. The students gained in-depth insights into the world of private equity, B2B SaaS software as well as the work and culture at Maguar Capital and were able to work on a case study. Afterwards, there was an informative get-together. Thank you very much to all participants. We enjoyed the interactive discussion on key topics around B2B software investments and appreciated the engaging Q&A session afterwards. If you're interested in exploring internship opportunities with us, please don't hesitate to get in touch via internship@maguar.com or Viviane Paßreiter. We welcome the opportunity to connect further with talented individuals, who share our passion for B2B software. 😊 #maguar #privateequity #investment #internship #b2b #software

AKB x Eintracht Frankfurt Last Monday, some of us had the great opportunity to visit the most successful football club in our region, Eintracht Frankfurt! Our day started in Eintracht Frankfurt’s IoT Garage, where after a brief introduction to the business side of a sports institution, we got to work on some thought-provoking case studies, touching on Eintracht's efforts and opportunities in ESG, IoT and the international expansion of their historic brand. Throughout the process, we were guided by Julius Feussner and Tom Siebert, who provided us with some key insights. After discussing each group's findings, we had the opportunity to have a Q&A session with one of our own alumni, Philipp Heßberger. Many of us took the opportunity to gain invaluable information about the inner workings of a Bundesliga club and the development of new business models at Eintracht Frankfurt – and by the way, Eintracht Frankfurt is always searching for top talents with strategic profiles to pave the way for future success. After some refreshments, it was time for the highlight of the day: our very own stadium tour! Many of us got to see one of the biggest stadiums in Germany, the Deutsche Bank Park, from a perspective we had never seen before. We would like to thank Philipp, Julius and Tom, as well as everyone else involved at Eintracht, for making this day an unforgettable experience!

AKB x London Business School 💙 In March, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from LBS in Mannheim for an enriching networking event. It was a fantastic opportunity for our members to connect and gain invaluable insights into one of the world's leading business schools. A special thank you to Alex Petterson for sharing his expertise and engaging with our attendees! However, our collaboration didn't end in Mannheim. We recently had the privilege of visiting the LBS campus during our AKB London Tour. The campus visit was inspiring and gave us a deeper understanding of what LBS offers to its community and the broader business world. These interactions are crucial for our members keen on exploring global career opportunities and broadening their professional networks. A big thank you to everyone involved for making these events a success. We are looking forward to strengthening the AKB x LBS relationship in the coming years! 🚀

Final Day: AKB London Tour 💙 As we wrap up our exhilarating journey through the European heart of finance, we made sure that Day 3 of our London Tour was nothing short of extraordinary! We delved into the realms of finance, real estate development, and credit markets, gaining invaluable knowledge along the way. Our day kicked off with an insightful visit to the historic J.P. Morgan, where we had the privilege of engaging in enriching conversations with their seasoned experts. Fabian Machácsek, Ilia Bylinkin, and Veit Kimmel guided us through the intricacies of Equity Capital Markets, opening up entirely new perspectives. Special thanks to Mara Weidemann Reig for organizing our visit! Next up, our exploration led us to Brookfield Asset Management, where Hendrik Geyer and Maximilian Koch caught us up with a live case study on real estate development. And what better way to have a Q&A session than accompanied by coffee and cake! Our journey culminated with a visit to Apollo Global Management, Inc., where Urs Gröpl led an engaging company presentation on the dynamic drivers of credit markets. Through thought-provoking discussions, we gained a deeper understanding of this intricate landscape, reshaping our perception of the status quo. But our adventure didn't end there! As the sun set over London, we embraced the city's nightlife with a memorable club evening. With our London Tour now concluded, we would once again like to thank everyone involved in its planning as well as its execution! Until next year! 🚀 #AKB #Finance #AKBGoesLondon
