The renowned German business publication ZEIT für Unternehmer by ZEIT Verlagsgruppe recently visited MYKITA HAUS for a tour and an interview with founder Moritz Krueger. The result is an intimate look at the various stages of our design and manufacturing process here at the MYKITA HAUS Berlin—from the design room to the shaping, assembling, and final quality control of our frames. Tokyo-based label TAAKK presented its Spring/Summer 2025 menswear collection on the last day at Paris Fashion Week. It’s time to talk about Chilled Raw – we are introducing this bold new material concept via voluminous, bold sunglasses. This new aesthetic direction for eyewear is currently attracting attention on the Fashion Week circuit. Our surface treatment finds beauty in the unrefined – the raw edges and matt finish of this eyewear tell the story of how it was made. Disrupting the conventional production process leaves marks and imperfections for a unique surface appearance that makes each frame an original. MYKITA at Paris Fashion Week – our third edition in the MYKITA | 032c collaboration previewed at 032c‘s “Everything Counts” Spring/Summer 2025 show. Adding to the office-to-rave atmosphere of the show was TOTO – our oval-shaped frame worn by several of the models in three different tone-on-tone colourways to complement the modern uniform-inspired looks. Congratulations to Maria Koch and the 032c team on their beautiful collection and official moment at Paris Fashion Week.

MYKITA in Bloom - Over the last month, we have been hosting flower-inspired events at selected MYKITA Shops across the globe. It has been such a pleasure to connect with our local customers over beautiful floral arrangements and inspiring new eyewear design. Thank you to everyone who joined us and see you soon again.

For anyone who might have missed it, we wanted to share a little throwback to Cannes Film Festival and one of our favourite long-time MYKITA enthusiasts: Oscar-winning actress and goodwill ambassador for the UN agency for refugees Cate Blanchett, who was wearing STUDIO 14.2 during a talk to advocate for the inclusion of more refugee voices and narratives in the film industry.

Sharing some impressions from our beautiful event in Bangkok – where a select group of valued customers and members of the press were invited for a fine dining experience at the city’s foremost destination for Italian haute cuisine to enjoy a custom menu inspired by the values and spirit of MYKITA. Our sincere thanks to Acqua Ristorante and chef Alessandro Frau for the exquisite flavours and setting, and to our local partner We Do Asia Co., Ltd. Spring gardening season at MYKITA has begun! 🌱 Despite the April cold snap, we had a great time last week sowing seeds and planting cuttings in our MYKITA HAUS courtyard planter boxes. We’re now crossing our fingers for both a pretty and edible harvest.   Big thank you to Berlin gardening collective Prinzessinnengärten for providing their time and expertise, plus all the necessary materials and seeds to make this green initiative possible! 🌿   #OpenToWork?
