I’d like to share with mixed emotions that yesterday marked my last day with AllianceBernstein. While I’m grateful for the opportunities I was presented with over the past 10 years, I’m evenly excited to start a new professional chapter eventually. I'm going to take a bit of time to find a new exciting challenge but I trust that my entrepreneurial, client-centric approach to Fixed Income business development and global perspective on responsible investing will be relevant for some time to come. In the meantime, I’m going to focus on consulting a new business venture in the healthcare industry and meeting some personal goals over the summer, including battling with the fascinating game of golf and catching up with friends across Europe.
Joining AB in 2014, my professional journey has been quite an adventure, but I wouldn’t have wanted to change it either. My focus on Fixed Income has certainly ensured that it’s never been dull! Servicing clients and meeting prospects across Europe and beyond has always been rewarding, while taking a global leadership role in shaping and strengthening the firm’s responsible investing approach and messaging has been challenging and exciting. There are many people that helped me along the way and influenced my personal and professional development, and I appreciate all of them. This is not an exhaustive list (it should really go on much longer) and I hope to catch up with many more over the coming weeks but I’d like to mention some of those ex-colleagues that left a mark - Dankeschön und bis bald:
· My former bosses who were instrumental for my career: Alison Martier Schweizer , Erin Bigley and Michael Thompson .
· My excellent and tenacious Fixed Income responsible investing colleagues: Tiffanie Wong, CFA , Patrick O'Connell, John Huang , Marc Uy, Salima Lamdouar and Shawn Keegan.
· My German-Swiss 'travel buddies' who I spent many enjoyable hours on the road with: Alexander Hoffmann, Gunnar Knierim, Dr. Martin Dilg, Markus Novak, Markus Rottler, Philipp Lehner, Oliver Kroll, Siegfried Volkmar, Jan Heyer, Peter Leffler and Pascal Weber.
