In an extraordinary collaboration, Be an Angel e.V., and Barthouse - Art Media Culture Concepts are bringing an impressive photo exhibition to our headquarters, the GRAFTLAB in Berlin. From July 13th to 19th, 2024, art lovers can admire and purchase 79 outstanding original works by internationally renowned photographers such as Arthur Elgort, David Drebin, Paola Kudacki, and many more at GRAFTLAB - and even do something good at the same time. GRAFT founding partner Lars Krueckeberg underlines the longstanding collaboration between the companies: "We have many years of exchange and support in common with Be an Angel, as well as a shared love of beauty. As architects who have always been active in crisis areas, we naturally support the people in Ukraine. We hope that the proceeds from the exhibition will be correspondingly high." Therefore, this exhibition offers a rare opportunity to acquire high-quality works of art at affordable prices and contribute to a good cause. Each work is an original copy that has been personally supervised and hand-framed in the artists' studios or laboratories. All proceeds from the exhibition will go to Be an Angel e.V. This multi-award-winning association has been working to integrate people with refugee experience since 2015 and has evacuated over 23,000 people since the start of the Ukraine crisis. Two perspectives on the relationship between material, energy and resources – two lectures by GRAFT founding partners. Lars Krueckeberg is speaking today in Berlin about timber construction in architecture at the anniversary celebration of PEFC International, the world's largest independent certification system for sustainable forestry. The increased use of wood as a building material – for very good reasons – has become a powerful driving force for the timber industry. The "Global Summit Innovating Sustainable Futures"  is a collaboration network and conference series hosted by leading mobility and cities research centers internationally, including LSE Cities, MIT Media Lab, the Sustainable Transportation Research Center at University of California, Berkeley, and Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft Future of Mobility. GRAFT has extensive experience in the topic of mobility, focusing on the feasible implementation of improved urban connections using innovative measures.
