EANTC has published the results of our 2024 multi-vendor SDN, Segment Routing, EVPN, and Time Synchronization interoperability test event. The results are showcased live at Upperside's MPLS SD & AI Net World Congress in Paris this week. We proudly present our 64-page test report available at https://lnkd.in/dG22GdVq. It contains detailed descriptions of each test and its results. Arista, Calnex, Ciena, Cisco, Ericsson, H3C, highstreet technologies, Huawei, Juniper, Keysight, Microchip, Nokia, Ribbon, and ZTE jointly executed extensive tests at EANTC's Lab in Berlin, Germany. More than 80 engineers from these 14 leading vendors teamed up on-site to validate the interoperability and integration of more than 130 devices. The testing probed the innovations in transport network solutions to support business VPN and 5G network services with application-specific network policies. 💥 EANTC completed the industry's first independent Autonomous Network Level test and certification in the IP Domain, evaluating Huawei's #SRv6 solution. Huawei showed remarkable automation achievements and reached AN Level 3.8 - an excellent result at this early stage in the Autonomous Networks ecosystem. Carsten announced this test highlight at the TM Forum's Autonomous Networks Summit and explored future challenges in the AN industry, especially Level 4 objectives for various use cases. Equitable and universally applicable testing and certification methods for vendors and service providers are key, highlighting the need for multi-vendor interoperability and industry-wide consensus on AN levels and closed-loop improvements. At the TM Forum's DTW23 - Ignite conference today, Carsten Rossenhövel spoke about EANTC test strategies for Autonomous Networks (AN). EANTC is committed to applying rigorous and transparent test methods to Autonomous Networks evaluations in the same way as we have tested IP, optical, and 5G network domain solutions all the time. EANTC announced today that we have completed the first independent AN testing in the IP Domain, evaluating the Huawei SRv6 solution. Huawei reached AN level 3.8 in line with the vendor's claims, which is an excellent result at this early time of the Autonomous Networks ecosystem.
