What happened at PITSTOP@Energy Ventures at Ammersee? Along with 4 hours of networking we had the pleasure to bring you 2 pitches, first one by Maximilian Isensee from Kitekraft presenting flying wind turbines. Kitekraft systems consist of a tethered electric aircraft, a.k.a. a kite. The kite has 8 onboard (flying) wind turbines. It autonomously flies in figure eights and generates electrical energy from the wind. Our systems need 10 times less construction materials compared to a conventional wind turbine, while being able to reach higher altitudes with stronger and more steady winds. It was a beautiful 4-hour boat ride at lake Ammersee, accompanied by two pitches by Kitekraft and Vericap and a lot of networking. We’d like to once again thank our event partners Shell Ventures, a fellow investor in energy transition, and the largest VC magazine in VentureCapital Magazin for being on-board. This year our cruise happened at the same time as The smarter E, the largest Europe’s series of Exhibitions for the Energy Industry, so we had the pleasure to attract a broad international audience from the energy space to enjoy Ammersee.
